Local EIT and PSD code lookup
Most Pennsylvania workers pay a local earned income tax (EIT) on top of state income tax. Your rate depends on where you live, and your Political Subdivision (PSD) code identifies your municipality and school district on withholding forms and local returns. Search the official register below.

Find your exact EIT rate
EIT rates change, and your combined rate is the resident rate of your home municipality plus, in some cases, your school district's share. The PA Department of Community and Economic Development runs the official address-based rate lookup, which is the authoritative source:
Official DCED withholding-rate lookupWhat the PSD code is for
Employers use your PSD code on the Residency Certification Form to withhold the right local tax, and you use it on your annual local return. The register above is the state's official list, published by DCED under Act 32. Philadelphia residents pay the city wage tax instead of EIT, so Philadelphia does not appear in this register.
Who collects the tax
Each Tax Collection District has its own collector (for example Keystone Collections, Berkheimer, or Jordan Tax Service). Your municipality's entry in the official rate lookup names the collector for your area. File your annual local return with that collector, not with the PA Department of Revenue.
